The Hiring House is seeking a Senior Security Architect to lead secure design and implementation across hybrid cloud environments. You will drive threat modelling, DevSecOps integration, and secure data pipelines while aligning security with business goals.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in IT with 5+ years in security architecture, hands-on experience with AWS/Azure/GCP, Kubernetes, IAM, CI/CD, and SIEM/SOAR, plus familiarity with NIST, ISO27001, SOC2 and TOGAF.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10+ years overall IT industry experience.
• Minimum of 5+ years in security architecture, design, or engineering roles involving security using service and hosting solutions such as private/public cloud IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS platforms.
• Familiar with security standards and frameworks (e.g. NIST, ISO27001, SOC2, CSA CCM) and TOGAF.

Experience Required

Minimum of 10+ years overall IT industry experience. Minimum of 5+ years in a security architecture, design, or engineering roles involving security using service and hosting solutions such as private/public cloud IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS platforms. Cloud & Infrastructure: Focused on secure deployment and integration across hybrid/multi-cloud environments, network security, IaaS/PaaS/SaaS controls, and cloud governance. Application security: Focused on secure software architecture, threat modelling, DevSecOps, API and identity design, and integration with CI/CD toolchains. Data, AI & Tokenization: focusing on data classification, privacy-enhancing technologies, encryption/tokenization, AI governance, and secure data pipeline design. Provides strategic and technical guidance across domains to align security architecture with business objectives. Focus areas include enterprise security design, zero trust principles, risk-based decision making, and integration of security into digital transformation initiatives. Hands on exposure to one or more of: AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, IAM, CI/CD, API gateways, SIEM/SOAR, technologies or data security technologies. Strong understanding of security principles, design patterns and strategies. Working knowledge of relevant security standards and frameworks (e.g. NIST, ISO27001, SOC2, CSA CCM). Professional certifications are beneficial (e.g. CISSP, CCSP, CISSM, Azure/AWS Architect)
