Job summary

Santos Limited, Adelaide Head Office, is seeking an Identity and Access Management Specialist to secure our digital assets. You will collaborate with technology and business teams to ensure compliant, appropriate access across the enterprise.

The role covers IAM strategy, user provisioning, privileged access management, and the deployment of SSO/MFA solutions. You will help maintain IAM policies and train stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in IAM within a cyber security environment.
• Knowledge of IAM technologies and protocols including Azure AD, AWS IAM, Okta, LDAP, SAML, OAuth, SSO and MFA.
• Experience managing user access, conducting access reviews and implementing security controls.

Responsibilities

• Manage user access provisioning and de-provisioning processes.
• Conduct access control reviews and audits to identify and mitigate security risks.
• Manage the identity lifecycle from registration to termination.

What you’ll do:

Based at our Adelaide Head Office, the Security and Identity Access Specialist plays a key role in protecting the organisation’s digital assets through the effective management of Identity and Access Management (IAM) services. Working closely with technology and business stakeholders, you will help ensure secure, compliant, and appropriate access to systems, applications, and information across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Identity and Access Management (IAM) strategies and solutions.
• Manage user access provisioning and de-provisioning processes.
• Conduct access control reviews and audits to identify and mitigate security risks.
• Manage the identity lifecycle, including user registration, authentication, and account termination.
• Implement and support Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions.
• Configure and maintain Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) technologies.
• Integrate IAM solutions with enterprise systems, applications, and directories.
• Provide incident response support for IAM-related security incidents.
• Develop and maintain IAM policies, standards, and procedures.
• Provide guidance and support to stakeholders on IAM best practices and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with Information Systems teams to ensure organisational assets are secured using IAM principles.

What you’ll bring:

• Experience working in Identity and Access Management (IAM) within a cyber security environment.
• Knowledge of IAM technologies and protocols such as Azure AD, AWS IAM, Okta, LDAP, SAML, OAuth, SSO, and MFA.
• Experience managing user access, conducting access reviews, and implementing security controls.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or industry certifications are highly regarded.
