Job summary

Edgexec (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Business Analyst (Sales and Distribution) to support, optimise and enhance SAP SD functionality. You will collaborate with stakeholders, end users and IT teams to translate requirements into functional specs and drive improvements across sales and distribution processes.

Responsibilities include end-user support, training, documentation and engagement in system enhancements and testing to ensure measurable business benefit.

Qualifications

• A degree in Information Technology, BCom or a relevant field.
• 1–2 years of experience in a relevant business function or information technology environment.
• Strong end-user knowledge of SAP Sales and Distribution (SD).
• Understanding of business processes and ability to analyse system-related requirements.
• Experience gathering, documenting and validating business requirements.
• Ability to prepare functional specifications, process flows and project documentation.
• Exposure to system enhancements, implementation projects, testing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong problem-solving, logical thinking and analytical skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication, report writing and interpersonal skills.
• Good planning, organisation, prioritisation and project coordination abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and Visio.
• Ability to work with business users, technical teams, consultants, suppliers and auditors.
• Attention to detail and accountability; ability to meet deadlines.
• Valid Code EB driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide SAP SD end-user support within agreed service-level agreements.
• Investigate system issues and coordinate with specialists to resolve them.
• Deliver system training and support adoption of new functionality.
• Develop and maintain user training manuals and e-learning materials.
• Identify opportunities to improve SAP functionality and business processes.
• Assist with gathering, analysing and documenting business requirements for enhancements.
• Prepare scope definitions, functional specifications and process diagrams.
• Coordinate testing and assist with user acceptance testing.
• Monitor project deliverables, timelines and outcomes.
• Provide post-implementation support and assess benefit delivery.
