Job summary

I&J, part of AVI, is seeking an experienced administrative professional to support project managers and superintendents in a workshop/engineering environment in Cape Town.

Role requires at least 5 years in maintenance and project planning admin, Grade 12, and a Planning and Maintenance Certificate; SAP PM and MS Office proficiency are advantageous, along with vessel systems knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years maintenance and project planning administrative experience in a workshop or engineering environment.
• Grade 12 / Matric.
• Planning and Maintenance Certificate.
• SAP – Plant Maintenance, MS Office, Vessel Systems and Stores Management (MRP) familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to Project Managers and Superintendents.
• Record keeping for both vessel and workshops.
• Providing Administrative Support to Workshop Foreman.
• Ordering of equipment and other resources.
