Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dynamic Sanitation Team Lead for our premier facilities in Sandton. You will guide daily cleaning operations, train staff, and oversee sanitation plans to uphold exceptional hygiene standards.

You will lead a team, develop daily work plans, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to safety and cleaning protocols, while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory or team lead role within cleaning/sanitation.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals and best practices.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train and supervise sanitation staff to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
• Develop and implement daily work plans and monitor progress.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleaning standards, safety and hygiene protocols.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and proper use.
• Provide coaching and performance feedback to team members.
• Serve as point of contact for sanitation-related issues and resolve problems promptly.
