Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a responsible Sanitation Team Lead to supervise sanitation activities at their Randburg facility. You will lead a team to maintain impeccable hygiene standards, ensure cleanliness and safety, delegate tasks, perform quality checks, and manage cleaning supplies inventory.

You will enforce health and safety regulations, train new team members on procedures, and support daily operational integrity with a collaborative, team-focused culture in Gauteng.

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory or lead role in cleaning or sanitation.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, materials and equipment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the sanitation team.
• Delegate tasks and ensure work completion according to established standards and schedules.
• Conduct regular quality inspections of cleaning tasks and provide feedback to team members.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ordering as needed.
• Train new team members on sanitation procedures, safety protocols, and equipment usage.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
