Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly diligent Sanitation Supervisor for a food manufacturing facility in Bloemfontein. You will lead sanitation technicians, develop cleaning schedules, and ensure hygiene and safety to regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include supervising crew, implementing sanitation programs, conducting microbiological inspections, managing chemicals and equipment, and ensuring HACCP/GMP compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Sanitation Supervisor in food manufacturing.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP and sanitation best practices.
• Experience with cleaning chemicals, sanitizers and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and enforce sanitation programs for food processing.
• Supervise and train sanitation crew on cleaning techniques and safety.
• Conduct regular microbiological testing and inspections.
• Manage inventory and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and internal standards.
• Collaborate with QA and production to address sanitation issues.
