Premier Financials Consultancy in Johannesburg/Cape Town is seeking a Senior Salesforce Data Architect to own the transition from data discovery to end-to-end solution design. You will connect Salesforce environments with enterprise SAP core systems and develop architecture blueprints and data pipelines for major financial institutions.

The role offers hybrid/flexible work arrangements with a permanent or long-term contract, and engagement across banking and insurance sectors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance (FSI): Deep knowledge of the regulatory landscape, data structures, and operational realities of financial institutions.
• Dual Data & Architecture Capability: Proven track record running deep data analysis alongside enterprise data modelling, ETL design, and architecture blueprinting.
• Salesforce & SAP Exposure: Hands-on experience navigating Salesforce data architectures and mapping them back to core SAP models.

Responsibilities

Senior Salesforce Data Architect

Location: Johannesburg / Cape Town (Hybrid / Strong WFH flexibility)

Permanent: R950,000 – R1,350,000 per annum (Base package, negotiable based on tenure and scope)

Contract: R600 – R850 per hour (Long-term specialist contract)

This role sits directly in the gap between the two.

You will step into a high-visibility position within a premier financial services consultancy, connecting complex Salesforce environments with enterprise SAP core systems. You will not just report on data; you will design the technical blueprints, data pipelines, and architecture proposals that shape how major financial institutions operate.
