Client Relationship Account Manager

Location : Remote

Hours : 3pm-11pm / 4pm-12am SAST, Monday - Friday

About the Role : We're seeking a proactive, relationship-driven SaaS Client Relationship Account Manager with strong sales experience. You will manage and grow relationships with our business clients, ensuring they receive maximum value from our platform. This role focuses on client retention, upselling, and account growth perfect for someone who thrives on building relationships and hitting targets.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
  • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Drive adoption and usage of our SaaS product through regular check-ins, training, and strategic guidance.
  • Leverage sales skills to identify and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Collaborate with product, support, and sales teams to resolve client issues and enhance the customer experience.
  • Monitor account health, usage data, and trends to proactively address risks and opportunities.
  • Manage contract renewals and work to reduce churn.
  • Achieve client retention and account growth targets.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in account management, customer success, or client services.
  • Proven sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets (upselling / cross-selling preferred).
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to understand and explain technical concepts in a clear, client-friendly way.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) is a plus.
  • Results-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
