Job summary

Flink Recruitment in Durban is seeking a Sales Engineer for a full-time role in KwaZulu-Natal. You will provide technical support, communicate with customers, and drive sales activities to ensure excellent service daily.

Responsibilities include managing sales processes, developing pipelines, conducting presentations, and growing revenue within a broad base of industries. A degree in Electrical Engineering and 2-3 years in technical automation sales are required, plus a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or relevant qualification.
• 2-3 years' experience in technical sales of industrial automation.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for geographic & industrial sales development and business opportunity growth of the Turck Banner product portfolio.
• Manage complex sales processes, develop pipeline and opportunities, prepare and conduct sales presentations, engaging effectively with focus customers.
• Key Account Development: work with Team Leaders to establish and implement account plan and strategy.
• Acquire needed technical competency to hold preliminary technical presentations and discussions with customers.
• Manage existing customer accounts and generate new revenue through prospecting and territory management using KPIs.
• Prepare quotes, manage CRM and territory reporting on a regular basis.
• Plan and conduct sales visits to targeted customers to build visibility and review progression weekly.

• Manage complex sales processes, diligently develop pipeline and healthy opportunities, prepare and conduct sales presentations, engaging effectively to all focus customers.
• Key Account Development: work closely with Team Leader(s) to establish and implement account plan and strategy.
• Acquire the needed technical competency to hold at least preliminary technical presentations and discussions with customers.
• Effective management of existing customer accounts and the generation of new revenue through prospecting, lead/funnel follow-up, and effective territory management in a broad base of industries and applications using company structured KPI’s.
• Administrative Responsibilities: preparation of quotes, CRM management and territory reporting on a regular basis.
• Plan and conduct sales visits to targeted customers on regular basis to build visibility. Review and update progression of these visits with Team Leader(s) on a weekly basis.
• Perform any other relevant duties as and when assigned by the Team Leader(s).
