Job summary

Venus Security International Ltd is seeking a dedicated Safety Officer to promote workplace safety, ensure compliance with OHS regulations, and maintain a safe working environment for employees, clients, and visitors. You will conduct inspections, identify hazards, lead safety inductions and training, investigate incidents, and support emergency preparedness while upholding the company’s safety culture.

Qualifications

• Relevant Safety Officer qualification or certification.
• Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety legislation. PSIRA Grade C certificate.
• Previous experience in a safety-related role is advantageous.

Minimum Requirements

• Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety legislation and procedures. Minimum of PSIRA Grade C certificate.
• Previous experience in a safety-related role will be an advantage.
• Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to identify risks and implement effective safety measures.
• Valid driver's licence will be an advantage, if applicable.
