Job summary

Austell Pharmaceuticals is seeking a knowledgeable Medical Trainer – Rx Training to join our Medical & Training team in Parktown. The role focuses on developing and delivering medical and product training for Doctor Detailing Sales Representatives, Brand Managers, and Regional Sales Managers, ensuring compliant communication and up-to-date treatment knowledge.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of relevant training experience.
Experience in a multinational pharmaceutical company is advantageous.
Experience with Rx medicines and training delivery is advantageous.
Strong medical, pharmaceutical and treatment knowledge.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver medical, product and competitor training.
Conduct onboarding, refresher and ongoing training sessions.
Simplify complex medical information into practical training content.
Develop and maintain accurate, compliant training materials.
Prepare assessments and identify knowledge gaps with coaching.
Monitor training effectiveness and employee development.
Stay updated on medical research, guidelines and regulatory developments.
Assist with medical information and drug-related customer queries.
Ensure training complies with pharmaceutical regulations and company policies.
Collaborate with Medical Advisors, Marketing, Regulatory Affairs and Sales Management.
Continuously improve training methods and learning experiences.
