Job summary

Bidvest Protea Coin in North West is seeking a capable Security Technician to maintain electronic security equipment and foster strong client relationships. You will ensure safety compliance, manage fault reports and support small projects, while keeping thorough documentation up to date.

The ideal candidate holds a PSIRA certification, with hands-on experience in access control, IP surveillance and Milestone, plus SQL knowledge and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• PSIRA certification required or in progress.
• Experience with access control and IP surveillance systems.
• Knowledge of SQL is advantageous.
• Milestone experience is advantageous.
• Excellent installation, troubleshooting and fault-finding skills are essential.
• Strong written and verbal communication; proficient in MS Office.
• Valid driver’s license and a proven track record in Electronics Security.
