Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Performance Analyst to join a premier rugby division in Cape Town. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Sports Science, Statistics, Data Science, Kinesiology, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect, process, and analyze performance data from training and matches using specialized software and statistical techniques.
• Develop and maintain KPIs for individual players and the team.
• Provide clear, concise reports and visualizations to coaches and management.
• Identify patterns and trends to inform tactical decisions.
• Collaborate with coaches to develop personalized training plans.
• Monitor player load, fatigue, and injury risk using physiological data.
• Utilize video analysis software to supplement data insights.
• Present findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
• Stay current with advancements in sports analytics and performance measurement.
• Contribute to development of new analytical tools and methodologies.
