You will work closely with coaches, analyze video and statistics, and develop data-driven recommendations to improve team performance. The position combines on-site data collection with project-based remote work within a dynamic, elite sports environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in sports science or related field.
• 3+ years as a performance analyst in professional rugby or similar.
• Proficiency with video analysis software.
• Strong rugby union knowledge and data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Record, code, and analyze video footage of matches and training sessions using specialized software.
• Provide objective feedback and statistical analysis to coaches on team and individual player performance.

• Develop and maintain databases of player and team performance metrics.
• Assist in the preparation of pre-match and post-match analysis reports.

• Strong understanding of rugby union tactics, rules, and positional play.
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Proficiency in data management and statistical analysis.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey findings effectively to coaches and players.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, often during game days.
