Qualifications

Experience in solar PV installation or related electrical/construction work.
Knowledge of installation techniques for solar PV systems, including mounting, wiring and grounding.
Familiarity with electrical codes and safety standards for solar installations.
Ability to work at heights and under varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Install solar panels, mounting hardware, wiring, and electrical components on rooftops and ground-mounted systems.
Interpret installation plans and blueprints for correct system placement and configuration.
Perform electrical connections and wiring according to codes and safety regulations.
Conduct pre- and post-installation inspections to ensure system integrity.
Adhere to safety protocols, including working at heights and site management.
Communicate progress and issues with team members, project managers, and clients.
