Job summary

takealot.com is seeking a talented Paid Media Manager to drive maximum ROAS across SEM, Social, and Display channels from Cape Town. You will lead hands-on campaign execution, optimize bidding strategies, and mentor the Retail Media team.

The role reports to Head of Performance & Projects and requires 5–7+ years in paid advertising and certifications in Google Ads and Analytics. A degree in Marketing/Statistics/CS is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Marketing, Statistics, Mathematics or Computer Science.
• 5–7+ years of hands-on paid advertising experience.
• Proven experience in a large-scale, fast-paced e-commerce environment.
• Certifications: Google Ads, Google Analytics.
• Account Management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end paid media campaigns across SEM, Social, and Display.
• Refine bidding strategies based on CLV and ROAS targets.
• Design audience segmentation to acquire profitable CAC.
• Develop a testing roadmap with incrementality tests and mentor the team.
• Provide deep-dive analytics by customer cohorts and CLV.
