Job summary

Kabstrading Co. is seeking a RIGGER for an open-cast mining environment to ensure safe, efficient lifting, movement, and positioning of heavy equipment and materials. You will report to the TMM Engineering Supervisor and support continuous, safe operations.

Responsibilities include inspecting rigging gear, planning lifts, guiding crane operators, securing loads for transport, and maintaining heavy equipment components while adhering to site safety rules and PPE requirements.

• Rig and secure loads for transport across the open-pit site.
• Repair and maintain draglines, shovels, and heavy haul truck components.
• Comply with site safety rules and wear protective gear at all times.

Duties & Responsibilities

The core purpose of the RIGGER role in an opencast mining environment is to ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant lifting, moving, and positioning of heavy equipment, structural components, and materials to minimize downtime and maintain continuous, safe mining operations. This position will report to the TMM Engineering Sujpervisor
