Job summary

Tiger Brands in South Africa is seeking a Production and Operations Assistant to support the day-to-day running of the rice production line. You will help operate production and packaging equipment, monitor processes and report issues to the supervisor, and help ensure packaging and labeling meets required standards.

Responsibilities also include maintaining hygiene, following HACCP and GMP guidelines, and assisting with stock handling and housekeeping tasks to support daily targets and quality

Qualifications

• Grade 12 qualification; NQF5 preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or production is advantageous.
• Basic literacy and numeracy required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with operation of production and packaging equipment as instructed by supervisor.
• Monitor production processes and report abnormalities.
• Assist with packing, handling, labeling and stacking of finished rice products.
• Keep area clean and tidy; follow housekeeping schedules.
• Follow HACCP/GMP and safety procedures.
