Vineyard Hotel in Newlands, Cape Town invites an experienced FIT Specialist for a fixed-term maternity cover. You will manage and optimise FIT reservations, focusing on revenue growth while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Reporting to the reservations team, you will handle deposits, cancellations and ensure smooth communications across departments during this maternity leave cover period.

Qualifications

• Matric (NQF Level 4) is required.
• 2 years’ experience in hotel reservations.
• Experience handling individual guest bookings (FIT).
• Satisfactory criminal record, subject to assessment of offences.

Responsibilities

• Reservations Management: process FIT reservations accurately within SLA timeframes.
• Revenue optimisation: maximise average room rates through upselling and cross-selling.
• Guest service excellence: provide personalized, attentive service for guests.
• Financial compliance: secure deposits and payment guarantees; comply with cancellation & refund policies; minimise bad debt and no-shows.
• Coordination and communication: flag potential operational issues proactively.
