Job summary

takealot.com, a leading South African online retailer, is seeking a Revenue & Banking Operations Manager to join our Head Office in Cape Town. You will own the end-to-end revenue accounting, cash management, and banking relationships, ensuring accurate revenue recognition and zero leakage in a high-volume environment.

This is not a traditional accounting role; you will build scalable processes, partner with Product, Technology and Payments teams, and drive improvements across non-integrated

Qualifications

• Senior finance operator with strong financial acumen and a builder's mindset.
• Own end-to-end revenue accounting, cash management, and reconciliation.
• Partner with Product, Technology, and Payments teams to align changes.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end reconciliation of all Takealot payment methods.
• Design scalable, automated reconciliation processes.
• Manage banking relationships and cash forecasting.
• Resolve payment-related customer and seller queries with finance data.
• Execute month-end journals for revenue and cash.
• Drive process improvements across non-integrated systems.
