Discovery Insure is seeking a high-performance Retentions Consultant to protect client relationships and deliver value in the customer journey. You will combine financial insight with empathy to retain policies and reinforce the Vitality Drive ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Matric (Essential).
• Class of business certificate (Essential/advantageous).
• CPD certificate (Essential).
• Minimum 3+ years retentions and/or sales experience in the short-term insurance industry (Essential).
• Minimum 1 year servicing experience (Advantageous).

Responsibilities

• Consistently achieve and exceed retention targets through customer-focused, value-driven conversations.
• Conduct high-quality retention engagements that reinforce the value of Discovery Insure products and services.
• Provide tailored financial guidance based on each customer’s risk profile and policy structure.
• Re-sell and reinforce product value for newly acquired customers considering cancellation.
• Identify and implement proactive retention initiatives to reduce policy cancellations.
• Use available tools, insights, and data to personalise retention solutions for each customer.
• Maintain accurate and timely administration across all required systems.
• Ensure strict adherence to risk, compliance, and regulatory standards within all engagements.
• Drive targets with a competitive, results-driven mindset while maintaining high ethical standards.
