Qualifications

• Grade 12 is required.
• 3–5 years’ experience in a retail store management capacity.
• Knowledge of sales & service management.
• Budgeting knowledge.
• Business understanding of retail trade, brand, customer & product.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily store operations to meet store targets and customer service standards.
• Be responsible for stock management: receive, unpack, replenish and stock on the floor.
• Monitor stock levels to mitigate loss and ensure adequate on-hand stock.
• Oversee stockroom housekeeping and authorize write-offs, breakages and returns.
• Analyse sales and profitability reports to plan operational actions and increase sales.
• Provide feedback on product performance to support centre and enhance sales.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales and brand awareness.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures across store operations.
• Lead customer experience initiatives and execute business instruction letters, promotions and visual standards.
• Recruit, coach and develop the store team and manage performance.
