Job summary

Qualifications

• Matric/Grade 12 with Mathematics an advantage.
• 2 years’ experience in a Retail Store Management or Assistant Store Manager role.
• Excellent business English, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Manage stock and control expenses to meet business targets.
• Achieve and/or exceed the required targets for the store.
• Use store resources effectively to maintain productivity.
• Have thorough knowledge of stock and policies and procedures.
• Act as custodian of all company policies and procedures to ensure standards.
• Assist with training and development of all staff.
• Maintain the company culture by treating staff with respect and professionalism.
• Ensure interactions with customers result in above-average service.
• Monitor store cleanliness and hygiene to comply with laws and standards.
