Placements24 is seeking a dynamic Retail Store Manager to oversee operations at the Midrand location. You will lead a team of retail associates, drive sales, and ensure an exceptional customer experience in Gauteng’s vibrant retail landscape.

You will manage stock, merchandising, and daily operations while coaching staff to meet targets and maintain high service standards. This role offers growth and a supportive work environment in Midrand.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or in a similar supervisory role.
• Demonstrable success in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of retail operations, merchandising, and inventory control principles.
• Ability to analyze sales data and make informed business decisions for the Gauteng market.
• Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and visual merchandising.
• Lead, train, and motivate a team of retail staff to achieve sales targets and provide outstanding customer service.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase store traffic, sales, and customer loyalty within the Midrand area.
• Monitor sales performance, analyze reports, and identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
