Job summary

Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking a Dispensary Manager for our Hillfox store in Roodepoort. You will manage and supervise the dispensary, including self-medication areas and staff, and ensure pharmaceutical care is provided and patients' needs are met.

The role requires BPharm or equivalent, SAPC registration, and the ability to work retail hours. You will lead dispensing activities, maintain stock, and ensure compliance with Good Pharmacy Practice.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric is required.
• BPharm or equivalent qualification is required.
• Registered with the SAPC before appointment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure dispensary and self-medication areas are adequately staffed.
• Ensure Good Pharmacy Practice rules are adhered to by staff.
• Ensure stock is not expired/short-dated and is disposed of correctly.
• Maintain stock levels and manage negative stock daily.
• Oversee dispensing accuracy, patient counselling, and drug interactions.
• Prepare for stocktakes and maintain inventory control.
• Ensure SAPC registration and fees are up to date.
