Job summary

Dis-Chem Pharmacies requires a Merchandiser for their Rustenburg store. You will ensure that basic Dis-Chem merchandising standards are properly executed and maintained, while providing excellent customer service.

The job includes stocking, shelf maintenance, and stock control as part of daily duties. Minimum requirements include Grade 12, up to 6 months retail experience, MS Office literacy, and willingness to work retail hours.

Qualifications

• Matric/Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Up to 6 months retail experience required.
• Computer literate – MS Office.
• Willing and able to work retail hours.

Responsibilities

• Restock merchandise to maximise sales.
• Store stock pulled from storeroom, stored and packed promptly.
• Ensure stock on shelves is within sell-by date and fully displayed.
• Rotate stock on FIFO basis and report stock levels.
• Adhere to store layout and planograms, and maintain neat shelves.
