Placements24 is seeking a Construction Foreman in Centurion, Gauteng to lead residential building teams. This on-site role combines supervision with administrative duties, ensuring safety, quality workmanship, and timely project delivery.

The ideal candidate has significant foreman experience, strong leadership, and the ability to read blueprints. A valid driver's license and willingness to travel between sites are required.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a Construction Foreman or in a supervisory role on residential projects.
• Knowledge of residential construction techniques, materials, and safety protocols.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate a crew.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise daily on-site construction operations, ensuring tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
• Assign tasks to crew members, monitor their performance, and provide guidance and training.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate construction according to specifications.
• Implement and enforce site safety regulations, conduct toolbox talks, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager on progress, material needs, and potential issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized worksite, ensuring proper tool and equipment management.
