Job summary

A well-established engineering company in KwaZulu-Natal is seeking an experienced Resident Engineer to join their team. Key responsibilities include liaising with clients, preparing contractual documents, and overseeing civil engineering works. Candidates should possess a BEng, BSc, or BTech in Civil or Structural Engineering, along with advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in project supervision. A competitive salary will be offered based on experience.

Qualifications

• 10 Years’ Experience in Project Supervision on Civil & Building Projects.
• Professional registration (Pr Eng/Pr Tech) is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D for design and review.
• 10 years of project supervision experience on civil and building projects.

Responsibilities

• Liaising with Clients and preparing contractual documents.
• Knowledge of contract administration and coordination.
• Experience in construction monitoring and civil engineering works.
• Review contractor drawings for design conformity.
• Issue site instructions to the contractor.
• Submit payment certificates to contractors.
