Job summary

Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care is seeking an RN student or current RN-in-program to provide efficient clerical support to registered staff, focusing on residents' documentation. You will assist with record-keeping and data entry to support planning and care delivery.

The role requires familiarity with medical terminology, strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate in Chinese or Japanese is an asset. A vulnerable sector check is required.

Qualifications

• Completion of 2nd year of an RN program or current enrollment in an RN program.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• Ability to communicate in Chinese or Japanese is an asset.
• Satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient and reliable clerical support to registered staff and nursing management, primarily in residents' documentation.
• Assists in auditing care plans to ensure consistency and completeness.
• Inputs and maintains accurate data, statistics and client information in accordance with the LTC Home requirement.
• Keeps up-to-date with development and best practices in the field.
