Job summary

GC Solar is seeking a motivated Technical Sales Representative for our Cape Town branch, based at East Precinct, Montague Park. You will drive technical sales across our full product range, focusing on product specification, new business development and project implementation for end-user clients in electrical and infrastructure sectors.

GC Solar offers base salary with commission, travel locally, and opportunities to work with a growing renewable energy leader in South Africa.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a technical sales environment.
• Proven track record in product specification and project-based sales.
• Experience in the South African electrical industry is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical sales across the full product range and develop new business.
• Prepare proposals, tenders and quotations; conduct on-site presentations.
• Oversee project implementation and ensure accurate product specification.
• Maintain CRM records and submit regular performance reports.
