Placements24 is seeking a forward-thinking Renewable Energy Electrical Engineer to join our client in Klerksdorp. This hybrid role focuses on the design and integration of electrical systems for solar, wind, and other renewable energy projects.

You will help develop sustainable energy solutions and work on projects contributing to a greener future in the North West province, with on-site and remote contributions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in renewable energy system design (solar, wind).
• Knowledge of grid-tied and off-grid systems, inverters and energy storage.
• Familiarity with industry standards and safety protocols.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model and strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in relevant design software and analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for renewable energy installations (PV, inverters, storage).
• Perform electrical calculations and create design drawings and schematics.
