Qualifications

About the Role

You will conduct in-depth market research, financial modeling, and technical assessments to support strategic decision-making in the transition towards sustainable energy solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed feasibility studies and due diligence for potential renewable energy projects , including solar, wind, and biomass.
• Develop complex financial models to assess project economics, including ROI, NPV, and IRR calculations.
• Analyze market trends, regulatory landscapes, and competitive dynamics within the energy sector.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management, investors, and stakeholders on project viability and performance.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to validate technical assumptions and energy production estimates.
• Monitor and report on the performance of existing renewable energy assets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in financial analysis, project finance, or consulting, with a focus on the renewable energy sector .
• Proven experience in building sophisticated financial models and conducting sensitivity analysis.
• Strong understanding of energy markets , power purchase agreements (PPAs), and relevant policy frameworks.
• Excellent research, data analysis, and report-writing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling software; familiarity with data visualization tools is a plus.
