Job summary

Blacksmith Agency, a remote WordPress engineering partner, seeks a senior WordPress Solutions Lead who will own client engagements from scoping to delivery. You will lead custom WordPress builds, ensure fast, clean code, and drive efficiencies with AI across the development lifecycle.

You will be the development voice for clients, translating business goals into technical solutions, while maintaining strong client relationships and delivering high-quality websites.

Qualifications

• Strong custom WordPress and PHP, plus modern HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Ability to scope work and tie it to a client's business goals.
• Real fluency using AI to drive development efficiency.
• Client-facing communication and excellent English.
• Experience leading or owning builds, not just closing tickets.

Responsibilities

• Scope client work against business objectives and set the build approach.
