Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Wealth Management Advisor for a leading independent financial advisory firm. This fully remote role enables you to serve clients anywhere in South Africa and grow your book of business.

You will deliver comprehensive financial planning and investment advice for high-net-worth individuals, leveraging expertise in investments, planning strategies, and client relationships to drive growth in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in Finance or related field; CFP/CFA desirable.
Minimum 4 years in financial planning, investment advisory, or wealth management in Banking & Finance.
Strong knowledge of SA financial markets and regulatory environment.

Responsibilities

Develop personalized financial plans for clients' investments, retirement, estate and insurance.
Analyze clients' financial situations, risk tolerance, and goals.
Advise on investment strategies, asset allocation, and portfolio construction.
Source and recommend suitable financial products and services to meet client needs.
Maintain long-term client relationships through regular communication and exceptional service.
Stay updated on market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes.
Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and acquire new clients.
Ensure regulatory compliance and company policies.
Collaborate with estate planners, tax advisors, and other specialists to provide holistic solutions.
Manage client portfolios, monitor performance, and adjust plans as needed.
