Placements24 is seeking a skilled Civil Design Engineer specializing in Water Resources to join a fully remote engineering team. You will design innovative water management, supply, and wastewater treatment solutions across various regions.

The role requires autonomy and at least five years of experience, with proficiency in hydraulic modeling tools (EPANET/HEC-RAS) and CAD, plus a solid understanding of SA water standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with Water Resources or Environmental specialization.
• Minimum of 5 years' professional experience in water resource engineering design.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage projects remotely.
• Experience with hydraulic modeling and CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop water supply, distribution, and wastewater systems.
• Perform hydraulic modeling and analysis for water networks, rivers, and drainage.
• Prepare design reports, specifications, calculations, and drawings.
• Collaborate with remote team members, clients, and regulators via virtual channels.
• Provide technical support during construction and operation.
