About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and analytical Remote Warehouse Data Analyst to join their team, working from anywhere within South Africa. This role is critical for transforming raw warehouse data into actionable insights that drive operational improvements and strategic decision-making. You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data sets related to inventory, logistics, and warehouse performance. This position offers a unique opportunity to leverage data analytics to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the overall performance of our client's extensive warehousing operations, with a focus on innovation and data-driven strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and organize large volumes of warehouse and logistics data from various sources.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement in inventory management, shipping, and receiving.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using BI tools to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics.
• Provide data-driven recommendations to management for optimizing warehouse layouts, processes, and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with warehouse managers and logistics teams to understand their data needs and deliver relevant insights.
• Stay updated on the latest data analysis techniques and technologies relevant to supply chain and warehousing operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably within a logistics or warehouse environment.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python (with libraries like Pandas, NumPy), R, or similar.
• Experience with business intelligence platforms like Tableau, Power BI, or similar for data visualization.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively in a remote setting.
