Placements24 is seeking a creative Video Editor on a contract basis to join our remote content team. You will transform raw footage into polished videos for social media, marketing campaigns, and internal communications, delivering engaging narratives on tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse video projects.
• Proficiency in professional video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar.
• Experience with motion graphics software (e.g., Adobe After Effects) is a plus.
• Solid understanding of video formats, codecs, and video production workflows.
• Excellent storytelling and visual communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, work independently, and meet tight deadlines in a remote capacity.

Responsibilities

• Edit raw video footage into compelling final products, ensuring smooth pacing, engaging visuals, and clear audio.
• Incorporate graphics, special effects, music, and sound effects to enhance video content.
• Collaborate with content strategists and marketing teams to understand project requirements and creative direction.
• Optimize video content for different platforms and formats, considering aspect ratios and technical specifications.
