Placements24 in South Africa is seeking a passionate Remote Travel Consultant to join our online travel agency, serving clients nationally from a home-based setup. You will craft personalized itineraries, book flights, accommodations and activities, and provide expert advice to clients exploring the world.

You will leverage your GDS knowledge to secure bookings, research options, handle changes, and deliver outstanding service with a focus on client satisfaction.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Travel Agent or Travel Consultant.
Proficiency with GDS such as Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre.
Excellent sales and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport.
Ability to work independently from a home office.

Responsibilities

Consult with clients to understand preferences, budget, and requirements.
Research and recommend destinations, options, and activities.
Book flights, accommodations, car rentals, tours, and other services using GDS.
Provide advice on travel documentation, visas, insurance, and local customs.
Handle booking modifications and cancellations, resolving issues promptly.
Stay informed on travel trends, destinations, and supplier offers.
