Placements24 in South Africa is seeking a passionate Remote Travel Consultant to join our online travel agency, serving clients nationally from a home-based setup. You will craft personalized itineraries, book flights, accommodations and activities, and provide expert advice to clients exploring the world.

You will leverage your GDS knowledge to secure bookings, research options, handle changes, and deliver outstanding service with a focus on client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Travel Agent or Travel Consultant.
• Proficiency with GDS such as Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre.
• Excellent sales and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport.
• Ability to work independently from a home office.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to understand preferences, budget, and requirements.
• Research and recommend destinations, options, and activities.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Travel Agent or Travel Consultant, with a strong understanding of the travel industry.
• Proficiency in Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre.
• Excellent sales, customer service, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
