Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years in telecommunications network design.
• Strong knowledge of IP networking, BGP, OSPF, MPLS.
• Experience designing fiber optic (FTTx) or wireless (4G/5G) networks.
• Proficiency with Visio, Lucidchart, and network simulation software.
• Strong security principles and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to work remotely.
• CCNA/CCNP or equivalent certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end telecommunications network architectures.
• Develop detailed network designs, schematics, and BOM.
• Specify network equipment, technologies, and configurations based on project requirements.
• Ensure network designs adhere to industry standards and company policies.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and operations teams.
• Perform capacity planning and scalability assessments.
• Evaluate new technologies and vendor solutions for integration.
• Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation and design guides.
• Conduct technical reviews and provide feedback.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving complex network design issues.
