Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 4 years hands-on network engineering experience in telecommunications.
• Proficiency with routing and switching technologies (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP).
• Experience with network security principles and tools (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS).
• Familiarity with network monitoring solutions (Zabbix, Nagios, Prometheus).
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and core networking protocols.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communication and remote teamwork abilities.
• CCNA, CCNP, or JNCIA certifications are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain diverse network components including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless APs.
• Configure and manage routing protocols and services for performance and security.
• Monitor network health and performance with advanced tools and proactively resolve issues.
• Troubleshoot complex network problems and perform root-cause analysis.
• Create and maintain comprehensive network diagrams, configs, and SOPs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for upgrades and new service rollouts.
• Ensure security via firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and access controls.
• Stay updated on emerging networking technologies and best practices.
• Participate in on-call rotations for after-hours support.
• Assist in capacity planning to meet future demands.
