Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Systems Integration Engineer to join our innovative, remote-first team. You will design, implement, and troubleshoot integration strategies across hardware and software components for diverse client systems, with emphasis on interoperability and performance.

The role requires strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, REST, SOAP), data formats (XML/JSON), and scripting (Python). You will document processes and support projects remotely.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in systems integration or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, APIs (REST, SOAP), XML/JSON, and system architectures.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement integration solutions for complex systems remotely.
• Configure and test hardware and software components to ensure interoperability.
• Diagnose and resolve complex integration issues, network problems, and system conflicts.
• Develop and maintain documentation for integration processes and troubleshooting guides.
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams and external clients to define integration requirements.
• Provide expert remote technical support for integrated systems.
• Monitor system performance and identify bottlenecks or optimization opportunities.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in systems integration.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of integration methodologies and tools.
• Ensure the security and integrity of integrated systems through best practices.
