Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Sustainable Agriculture Consultant to join our global advisory team. Working fully remotely, you will guide farms and agricultural organizations toward sustainable practices, focusing on soil health, water conservation, biodiversity, and organic farming techniques.

You will develop customized plans, deliver remote trainings, and support clients in obtaining certifications while navigating regulations.

Qualifications

Advanced degree in sustainable agriculture or related field.
5+ years in sustainable agriculture, consultancy, or research.
Strong remote communication and client management skills.
Experience with lifecycle assessments or environmental impact analysis is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assess current farming practices and identify opportunities for improvement.
Develop customized sustainable agriculture plans tailored to farm needs and local conditions.
Advise on organic farming, conservation tillage, crop rotation, and agroforestry.
Provide recommendations on water management, energy efficiency, and waste reduction.
Assist clients in navigating environmental regulations and certifications.
Conduct research on emerging sustainable agricultural technologies and best practices.
Deliver remote trainings and workshops to clients and stakeholders.
