Job summary

RSB - Roundtable on Sustainable Biomaterials invites expressions of interest from consultancy firms and individuals to join a pre-approved External Consultant Roster for project-based work over the next 2–3 years. Engagement is remote, flexible and can cover full scope or defined subsets.

Onboarding will familiarize consultants with RSB's sustainability framework and regulatory context. Projects will be allocated when needs arise, with remuneration on a day-rate basis and CET alignment.

Qualifications

• Strong written and spoken English proficiency
• Ability to coordinate across remote, multi-stakeholder environments
• Proven delivery track record in consulting or advisory roles
• Legal authorization to perform consultancy services in residence or operation

Responsibilities

• Contribute to scope and methodological approach for assessments under EU RED, CORSIA and related frameworks
• Review data, validate assumptions, and propose defensible proxies or literature values
• Perform GHG calculations and carbon-intensity assessments
• Prepare GHG, LCA or sustainability assessment reports using standard templates
• Support interpretation of policy requirements for feedstocks, technologies and markets
• Document benchmarking requirements and identify compliance risks
• Review certification-readiness documentation against criteria
• Translate findings into practical compliance options
• Develop methodologies and decision tools for sustainability assessments
