Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Remote Sustainable Agriculture Consultant to provide expert guidance on eco-friendly farming practices and resource management for a global client base.

You will advise agricultural businesses, NGOs, and government bodies on regenerative agriculture, water conservation, biodiversity enhancement, and long-term farm viability, delivering remote assessments, strategic advice, and virtual training to farmers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree required (Master's or Ph.D.) in Sustainable Agriculture, Environmental Science, Agronomy, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in sustainable agriculture consulting or research.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and report-writing skills for virtual delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop customized strategies for clients to adopt sustainable agricultural practices (soil health, water management, biodiversity).
• Conduct remote assessments of farm operations and identify areas for improvement and resource optimization.
• Provide expert advice on organic farming, agroecology, permaculture, and other sustainable methodologies.
• Assist clients in navigating environmental regulations and accessing certifications for sustainable produce.
• Create educational materials and conduct virtual training sessions for farmers and stakeholders.
• Research and recommend innovative technologies and approaches supporting ecological farming.
