Placements24 is seeking a Remote Sustainable Agriculture Consultant to join our global advisory team. Working fully remotely, you will guide farms and agricultural organizations toward sustainable practices, focusing on soil health, water conservation, biodiversity, and organic farming techniques.

You will develop customized plans, deliver remote trainings, and support clients in obtaining certifications while navigating regulations.

Qualifications

About the Role

Our client is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Remote Sustainable Agriculture Consultant to join their global advisory team. Based remotely, you will provide expert guidance to farms and agricultural organizations seeking to implement more sustainable and environmentally friendly practices. This role involves advising on soil health, water conservation, biodiversity enhancement, organic farming techniques, and reducing the environmental footprint of agricultural operations. Key Responsibilities

• Assess current farming practices and identify opportunities for improvement in sustainability and environmental impact.
• Develop customized sustainable agriculture plans tailored to specific farm needs, goals, and local conditions.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Sustainable Agriculture, Environmental Science, Agronomy, or a closely related field.
• Significant experience (5+ years) in sustainable agriculture, consultancy, or agricultural research.
• In-depth knowledge of ecological farming principles, soil science, water management, and biodiversity conservation.
• Experience with life cycle assessments or environmental impact analysis in agriculture is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.
• Strong remote communication, presentation, and client management abilities.
