Placements24 client in the logistics sector seeks a meticulous Supply Chain Analyst for a remote role based in George, Western Cape. The role focuses on rigorous data analysis and process optimization to improve overall supply chain performance.

You will analyze data, develop dashboards, forecast demand and inventory, and identify cost-saving opportunities while coordinating with logistics, procurement and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field related to supply chain.
• 3+ years of experience as a Supply Chain Analyst or similar role.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL and BI platforms (Tableau/Power BI).
• Strong understanding of supply chain, logistics and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for key metrics.
• Model and forecast demand, inventory levels and transportation needs.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement reductions.
• Evaluate supplier performance and suggest sourcing improvements.
