Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Procurement Specialist to join a fully remote team. You will lead strategic sourcing initiatives, manage major supplier relationships, negotiate high-value contracts, and drive cost optimization across the organization.

The role requires 5+ years in procurement, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and the ability to thrive in a remote, cross-location environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in strategic procurement, sourcing, or category management.
• Proven track record of negotiating complex contracts and achieving cost savings.
• Strong analytical skills with spend analysis and market research.
• Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a remote work environment with strong self-discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of strategic sourcing strategies for key spend categories.
• Manage relationships with critical suppliers and drive performance improvements.
• Conduct complex negotiations for contracts, SLAs, and pricing structures.
• Analyze spend data and market intelligence to identify cost reduction opportunities and risk mitigation.
• Oversee end-to-end procurement processes ensuring compliance with policies.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to procurement process improvements.
