Placements24 is seeking a Remote Sports Performance Analyst to leverage data from wearables, video, and physiological tests to improve athlete performance and prevent injuries. You will work with coaches and sports scientists to design data-driven training plans and deliver clear insights in accessible reports.

The role requires at least 3 years in sports performance analytics, strong skills in R, Python, SPSS, and data visualization, and the ability to work effectively in a remote, global team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Sports Science, Biomechanics, Data Science or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in sports performance analysis or similar role.
• Proficient in data analysis tools (R, Python, SPSS) and data viz (Tableau/Power BI).

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and organize performance data from wearables, video, and tests.
• Analyze trends and identify strengths and areas for improvement.
• Develop and present reports to coaches and athletes with actionable insights.
• Collaborate remotely with coaches to design data-informed training plans.
• Monitor workload, fatigue, and injury risk; provide preventative guidance.
• Keep up with sports science research and tech advances.
• Contribute to new data collection and analysis methods.
• Maintain a secure, organized performance database.
• Communicate complex findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Participate in virtual team meetings and strategic discussions.
